To officially kick off TAZFEST 2026, Sheriff Lower will offer opening remarks and welcome everyone to this year’s event as we celebrate a day dedicated to the health, safety, and well-being of the seniors in our community.

Join Kayla Pettit, Licensed Social Worker with OSF PACE, for an informative and engaging presentation designed to help older adults live healthier, safer, and more independent lives.
Dr. Alex Chiou, Beltone Hearing Aids, Owner and Hearing Care Practitioner will present, “Hearing Health and Brain Health: The Link Between Hearing Loss and Dementia.” This covers how hearing loss can contribute to cognitive strain and social isolation, and simple steps people can take to protect their hearing and brain health.
